Imathia ryukyuensis sp. nov. and I. taiwanensis sp. nov. are described from Japan and Taiwan, respectively. Occurrence of this genus is recorded, for the first time, from both the areas. Ouzephianta Voss is newly synonymized with Imathia and the type species, O. sparsa from Java, is transferred to the genus. Imathia is placed in Curculioninae: Storeini, following Zimmerman.
