In a further summarising contribution new records of weevils for the Swiss fauna are presented in the run-up of a checklist. As a consequence of the examination of type material, the lectotype of Tychius tridentinus Penecke, 1922 is designated. The 5 species Anthonomus brunnipennis Curtis, 1840, Ceutorhynchus parvulus Ch. Brisout, 1869, Haplorhynchites pubescens (Fabricius, 1775), Polydrusus pedemontanus Chevrolat, 1869 and Scolytus kirschii kirschii Skalitzky, 1876 are reported as new for the Swiss fauna. New faunistical and partly ecological data within Switzerland are given for 15 species of the genera Anthonomus, Coryssomerus, Don'ts, Eucoeliodes, Ferreria, Kissophagus, Lixus, Parafoucartia, Polydrusus, Ranunculiphilus, Trypophloeus, Tychius, and Xyloterus.
