: | During a biodiversity-study from 1993[long dash]1996 in Visperterminen (Valais), mainly focused on Lepidoptera, also Coleoptera were collected. Four different biotopes from 860[long dash]1440m a.s.l. were examined by light- and day catches. The 549 Curculionoidea (irregularly) collected belonged to 66 different species of the families Anthribidae (2 species), Apionidae (16 species), Curculionidae (47 species), and Rhynchitidae (1 species). The finds of the following remarkable species, all xerothermophilous elements, are discussed: Catapion koestlini, Ceutorhvnchus hirtulus, Charagmus intermedius, Tychius alpinus, Lasiorhynchites coeruleocephalus. |
