A new species, Cormopus alessandrae n. sp., is described from Gabon and compared with the closely related C. guineensis Damoiseau, 1967 from which it differs for the longer prothorax, the posterior femur distinctly hollowed at apex, the differently shaped metatarsal articles, the much longer apical tuft of hairs of third metatarsal article. Spathehrinus cenaresti n. sp. is described from Cameroon and Gabon, and compared with the closely related Spatherhinus species, from which it mainly differs for the opaque, not wrinkled, uniformly coloured pronotum and for the male metafemora basally flattened. The following species are quoted for the first time for Gabon Cormopus guineensis Damoiseau, 1967, Cormopus diversitarsis Kleine, 1916, Cormopus distinctus Kleine, 1916 and Diastrophocoleps femoralis Damoiseau, 1961.
